To My Son…..

I can’t raise the man in you

But I can raise the character in you

Enforce the basics your character should be

I can’t raise the man in you

But I can remind you

Time after time

Always remain humble

Respect those who respect you

Fear no man not even the man that lives in you

Speak less and listen more

Never underestimate anyone

Some are predictable

But many will surprise you

Just remember your strength is in your heart not your physical

I know as a mother

As a woman

I cannot raise the man in you

But I will raise the character that lives within

Baby boy you’re destined to Win!

I dedicate this poem to my son Caiden Allen Daise
