Our black boys and black men are cheated of their value from birth

Treated as if they aren't the finest wine on earth

Misused and abused by a system created

To diminish their minds

Crush their spirits

Forcing a lot of these committed crimes

Weaken their strengths by limiting their time

Our black boys who become black men are lusted

But the world is taught they're never to be trusted

With all the odds set against them

As their Mothers, Lovers, and Sista's

We're supposed to bear with them

Protect them, guide them, and stand beside them

Understand its not easy for them

So we must educate our black boys

Let books be their first toys

Love and nurture our black boys

Build and create master minds

So as Black men they are never undermined
